Warlock, if you duplicate the layer (Ctrl + J) then it should also copy the layer styles that go along with it - does it not keep the layer styles on your duplicated clouds or did you make them again from a new layer? I tried out photoshop for the first time, and I managed to do this by myself - turned out to be a copy of yours too! Ps.
